FOUNDATION & DISCOVERY

Thank you for your interest in working with us at The Plenipotent Company.

We believe that we can learn a lot about people by giving them an opportunity to come inside, experience the environment, and show what they can do. That is what this experience is about.

Rather than deciding whether we should work together based only on an application or interview, we are giving you an opportunity to discover our work, our people and our way of working while giving us an opportunity to discover what you can contribute.

By accepting this Agreement, you confirm that you understand and agree to the following.

During Foundation & Discovery, you may:

• become familiar with our virtual workspace and systems;
• learn about our work and how we operate;
• access selected training, courses and development resources;
• participate in coaching and feedback sessions;
• interact with our professional community;
• see selected projects and opportunities; and
• explore and demonstrate how you believe you can contribute.

The purpose is not simply for us to assess you. It is also for you to discover whether working with us is right for you.

You will have up to three weeks to explore Foundation & Discovery.

This is not a three-week period of unpaid employment or a requirement to work for us before being considered for paid work.

There is no minimum number of hours, tasks or deliverables that you are required to complete. You are free to explore, learn, participate and contribute according to your interests and abilities. You may also leave at any time.

We will share information about projects, activities and opportunities that may allow you to demonstrate your capabilities. You decide where you believe you can add value. You are not automatically required to undertake an opportunity simply because it is posted.

If you are unsure whether you may access something, use information in a particular way or undertake an activity, ask before proceeding.

There is no requirement to wait until the end of the three-week period. If you demonstrate a strong basis for working together, we may invite you to discuss a paid trial or other paid engagement at any point during Foundation & Discovery, including very early in the experience.

The duration, scope, remuneration and other terms of any paid engagement will depend on the nature of the work and will be separately discussed and agreed by both parties before the engagement begins.

Participation in Foundation & Discovery does not guarantee a paid trial, paid engagement or future work.

We will provide a genuine opportunity for you to learn, explore our environment, receive feedback and demonstrate what you can contribute.

You agree to participate honestly and professionally, respect other people, protect confidential information, use our systems responsibly and exercise good judgement.

Your access to our workspace does not give you unrestricted permission to access, copy, download, share or use everything within it. Some information and resources may require permission.

During Foundation & Discovery, you may encounter confidential information concerning The Plenipotent Company, our clients, projects, people or business.

You agree to keep such information confidential and to use it only for legitimate participation in Foundation & Discovery or activities expressly authorised by us.

You must not disclose, publish, commercially exploit or upload confidential information to external services, including AI tools, without permission.

You may leave at any time simply by letting us know.

We may also end your participation where necessary, including because of serious concerns involving confidentiality, security, misconduct, dishonesty or inappropriate use of our resources.

When participation ends, you must stop using our confidential information and comply with any continuing obligations that apply.

By accepting this Agreement, you confirm that you understand that Foundation & Discovery is an opportunity to come inside, learn, explore, contribute and demonstrate what you can do.

You have up to three weeks to make use of that opportunity, but you are not required to remain for three weeks.

You understand that the purpose is to discover whether we should work together, not to require you to work for us without pay.

If we decide to proceed to paid work, we will agree on the appropriate terms separately.
